COMMONWEALTH GAMESA Gold and a Silver medals from 12 Commonwealth Games means that the Cayman Islands currently occupies the 46th position of medal winning nations at these Games. | PAN AM GAMESSilver medals by Kareem Streete-Thompson at the 1999 Pan Am Games in Winnipeg, Canada and Cydonie Mothersill at the 2003 edition of the Pan Am Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic represent the total of medals won to date at these Championships. |
ISLAND GAMESSince our first entry at these Games in 1997 the Cayman Islands have in large measure dominated the Sprint events and to date has amassed 53 Gold Medals 31 Silver Medals and 27 Bronze Medals. | THE CARIFTA GAMESThe Cayman Islands has hosted the Carifta Games on three occasions in 1995, 2010 and 2019 and to date has amassed 101 medals with 52 of them coming since 1990 (consisting of 11 Gold Medals, 16 Silver Medals and 25 Bronze medals), which places us squarely in the middle of the medal table amongst the 26 countries that have won medals at these Games. |
CUT GAMESWe have performed creditably at this Meet ever since sending a team to the Meet in Jamaica in 2008 with the highpoint to date being the over 30 plus athletes who journeyed to St. Lucia in 2010 and returned with a bevy of medals. |
