The Cayman Islands Athletic Association’s (CIAA) 2021-2022 Season kicks off at the Truman Bodden Stadium this Saturday (December 18) at 2:00pm with the staging of an Odd-Events Meet.

The loss of seasoned campaigners  from  last Year’s Season, such as Michael “MD” Smikle, DeJaughan Murray, Devonte  Howell and Karim Murray, to overseas schools, will provide  an opportunity for athletes  such as Ashantae Graham, Tori-Ann Gonez, Danielle Bailey, Jermaine “Farmer” Brooks, Bradley Erskine, Kashief Dawkins, Najee Gordon, Samuel Campbell, Derrick Francis, Errol Smith, Neil Brown,  Renia Smith, James Crooks, Michail Michelin,  Jacob Kelly, Deneisha Taylor, Alliyannah Anderson, Rachel Pascal, Renadra Powell, Anthony Chin  Jr., Rianna Rankin, Tayvana Myles, Brianna Smith, Aimee McKenzie, Rheann Best, Jaheim Ebanks, Jouri Ebanks and Jamar Ellis to showcase their talent and show that they are equal to those athletes  lost from last Season and equally  capable of exciting local  fans and recording exceptional feats.

The Meet will provide events in the Under 7, Under  9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, Under 20 and Open categories and Registration Forms are available at the  Association’s website, htpps://www.trackandfieldcayman.ky/odd-events-1-registration/.   Entries  are to be submitted no later than Wednesday 15th December 2021.
